Seeing a Flat in Kalpataru Radiance? Here Is Everything to Know
Viewing a flat, booking one or collecting the keys, here is Kalpataru Radiance on a single page: the wings and their OC, what Kalpataru fits as standard, and all you can automate on top of it, room by room.
Kalpataru Radiance in Goregaon West shows its status as OC Received, with possession ongoing, on Kalpataru's own page. Its brochure lists split ACs, imported marble, a video door phone and lighting scenario smart switches in the living room and bedrooms. Add curtains, AC control, locks and scenes, and the flat works as one system. AHA has designed 5 homes here.
Kalpataru Radiance is a four-tower complex on 4.2 acres in Goregaon West, part of the Patra Chawl redevelopment at Siddharth Nagar as property news reports describe it, with Goregaon station about 950 m away by one portal's measure.
What is Kalpataru Radiance?
A Kalpataru project, registered with MahaRERA under the promoter Keyana Estate LLP. The Kalpataru Radiance project page, as it read on 3 November 2026, describes four towers, lists five wings with a registration each, and links the brochure and floor plans. Anything below marked as reported comes from property portals or data mirrors, not from Kalpataru.

When is possession, wing by wing?
The project as a whole: handing over now. On 3 November 2026 Kalpataru's page gave its status as OC Received and its possession as ongoing, so a flat here is a finished home, not a wait.
Wing by wing: less clear-cut. A property news report, since taken offline, said MHADA issued the occupancy certificate on 10 April 2023 following Bombay High Court directions, in full for Wings A, C and D and in part for Wing B. We could not open that report again, so read it as reported. Buying in Wing B? Ask Kalpataru or the society whether the remainder of the wing has been covered since. For the registered record of any wing, E included, search its number on the MahaRERA portal.
What that means at handover: because the OC reportedly came only after the court stepped in, some fittings may have been in the walls for a while before the keys changed hands. Before you plan anything new, run every scene on the wall switches, ring the video door phone and try the door lock, and write down the make and model of each. Our electrical points checklist for a new home lists what else to test.
What comes with a Kalpataru Radiance flat?
Some smart kit, before you add anything. Kalpataru's brochure for Wings A, B and C lists the following:
| What the flat has | What it means for automation |
|---|---|
| Split AC in the living/dining room and bedrooms | Each unit takes a remote, so it can be brought onto one system through infrared |
| Lighting scenario smart switches in the living/dining room and all bedrooms | Lighting scenes exist already. Find out the brand and protocol at handover; a site visit settles how they fit alongside AHA |
| Video door phone (VDP) at the apartment entrance | Keep it for visitors. A smart main door lock is a separate decision |
| Imported marble in the living room, dining, passage and bedrooms; wooden bedroom floors in 4 BHKs | Nothing needs cutting into the floor. Control lives in the light fittings and the switch boxes |
| Gypsum-finished internal walls | Wireless parts avoid chasing walls. A switch box with no neutral needs one run to it, then a patch and repaint |
| Aluminium sliding windows, glass railings in bedrooms | Curtain tracks fix above the frame, with a power point at each window head for the motor |
| Storage water heaters in the bathrooms | These stay on their own switches. AHA does not control geysers |
| 4 BHK only: entrance door with a digital lock, and premium brand switches | The door is already locked digitally, so a smart lock becomes a question of whether you want it to start your scenes |
The brochure marks several of these with an asterisk, among them the VDP, the master bedroom's HDMI port, the water heaters and the 4 BHK's premium switches, and we could not find what the asterisk stands for. It also covers Wings A, B and C only; we could not read a specification for Wing D. So use the table as a checklist and confirm each item in your own flat. The source is the Kalpataru Radiance brochure.
Why is automation worth it in a Kalpataru Radiance flat?
Because Kalpataru has supplied the parts but not one way to run them. The lights answer to their own scenario switches, each AC to its own remote and the door phone to itself. Four things about Radiance make bringing them together worth doing:
- The switches stop at lighting. The brochure calls them lighting scenario switches. Curtains, ACs and the TV, where much of the day's button-pressing happens, are left out.
- One remote per AC. With a split unit in the living room and in every bedroom, a 3 BHK has at least four remotes to find. On one system they follow a schedule instead, and switch to dry mode on damp monsoon days.
- Towers that look at each other. One property portal notes that some Radiance towers face one another. Motorised sheers that close on a schedule keep a room private while still letting the light through.
- Finishes worth protecting. Imported marble underfoot and gypsum-finished walls are costly to open up. Wireless control leaves the floor alone and keeps wall work to the switch boxes.
What can you automate in a Kalpataru Radiance flat?
Almost everything you switch, draw, set or lock in a day, built on top of what Kalpataru has already fitted. Here it is room by room for a Radiance flat. Every part answers to a single AHA hub, so one button, one schedule or one spoken command can move several of them together.
Living and dining room
- Each light at its own level. An AHA smart driver sits inside every fitting, so the cove, the downlights and the pendant over the dining table each get their own brightness and warmth. Kalpataru's scenario switches already run lighting on this wall, so the site visit begins by working out which circuits they control and how AHA sits beside them. A chandelier will dim only if its bulbs do; otherwise it runs on or off.
- The split AC through infrared. An AHA IR controller placed where it can see the living room unit sends the same commands as its remote: temperature, mode, and dry mode when the monsoon air turns heavy.
- Two curtain layers, two motors. Sheer and blackout run on separate 27 dB motors. Drawing the sheers on a schedule gives privacy from any tower opposite without shutting out daylight, and if you tug one by hand, the system keeps track of where it stopped.
- Fan, TV and set-top box. A BLDC ceiling fan comes on board through an RF controller, which older induction fans cannot use; the TV and set-top box join through IR.
- Scenes for the room's big moments. Theatre Mode sets up a film or a match in one press: TV on, curtains closed, AC set, lights down. Hosting Mode cools the room hard before guests arrive, eases off after a few minutes, and lights it unevenly so the walls and furniture you chose stand out.
- Sound and scent on cue. AHA Room Speakers sit flush in the ceiling and play over AirPlay, and an aroma diffuser can join any of the room's scenes.
Master bedroom
- A morning that brightens by degrees. Goodmorning Mode draws the curtains back a tenth at a time, every five minutes, rather than flooding the room at once.
- The whole flat from the bedside. An X7 keypad by the bed can hold a goodnight scene on one click: all lights off, curtains shut, the split AC at your sleeping temperature. Press twice, or hold, and the same button runs two more.
- Light for bare feet on marble. Midnight Walk relies on a motion sensor beneath the bed, so a low light comes up as soon as you stand, while the bathroom's presence sensor holds a dim, steady light for as long as you are in there.
- The TV on the HDMI wall. Kalpataru provides an HDMI port in the master bedroom, and a TV on that wall joins the system through IR. Spotlight Mode puts a tight pool of light on your book and leaves the rest of the room in low light.
- Locks on the bedroom door and the wardrobe. The AHA bedroom lock opens to a fingerprint, and only the admin can work it from the app. The wardrobe lock takes a fingerprint or a remote unlock from the app, with a three-year warranty.
Children's room and other bedrooms
- A room that plays. Kids Mode cycles the lights through colours, throws stars across the ceiling from the StarLight Projector, closes the curtains so the effect shows and keeps the AC or fan comfortable, from a single switch.
- A split AC per bedroom, a schedule per bedroom. Because each bedroom has its own unit, one room can cool down before bedtime while the others stay off.
Kitchen, utility and passages
- A cleaning button. Cleaning Mode switches every light to bright white for the house help and stops the AC and fan. Click twice and the AC returns for a short spell to dry a freshly mopped marble passage.
- Passage lights that need no switch. Battery motion sensors, with nothing to wire, light the entrance passage and the kitchen as you walk through and turn them off four minutes after you have gone.
Bathrooms
- No more waving at the ceiling. A presence sensor reads stillness, down to breathing, so the light stays on through a long shower. It needs phase and neutral at its position, which your electrician confirms.
- A speaker built for the bathroom. AHA's bathroom speaker is IP44-rated and has no amplifier of its own; it plays from a multi-zone amplifier that can serve the bedroom next door as well.
- The water heaters stay as they are. Kalpataru's storage water heaters keep their own switches, because AHA does not control geysers.
Entrance and main door
- Keep the VDP. The video door phone at your entrance is Kalpataru's. Whether it can work alongside AHA depends on its make and model, which the site visit checks.
- A main door lock that does more. The AHA main door lock opens to face recognition, a fingerprint, a palm or a code, with one-time codes for guests, timed codes for staff and NFC cards. Ring the bell and its camera wakes and your lights blink; force it and a 30-second alarm sounds while your phone gets an alert. The brochure lists no digital lock for 2 and 3 BHKs, which makes the main door a natural first upgrade there. Behind a safety door, the gap decides whether it fits, and we measure that on site.
- Arrivals and departures. Grand Welcome knows who has come in and sets their lights, AC and curtains to match. Goodbye Routine locks the door, switches everything off and closes the curtains on your way out.
Mandir
- Prayer time, prepared. Pooja Mode brings the mandir lights up on schedule, starts the aroma diffuser and can play the morning's bhajans on an AHA speaker.
The whole flat
- Local, not cloud. The hub runs lights, curtains, locks and scenes inside the flat, so an internet outage leaves them working; only remote access, camera viewing and voice need a connection. A power cut is different: scenes pause until the mains returns.
- Voice, app and no fees. Control the flat by voice through Amazon Alexa, Google Home, or Apple Home and Siri, or from the AHA app for iPhone, with no subscription to pay.
- Three scenes on one button. A single X7 keypad button can run one scene on a press, another on a double press and a third on a hold. Every keypad must have a neutral wire at its box.
- Start with one room. The living room can go first and the bedrooms later, with nothing redone when they join.
| Not covered | Why |
|---|---|
| Geysers and water pumps | Kalpataru's storage water heaters and any pump keep their own switches; AHA does not control them |
| Chandeliers with non-dimmable bulbs | A driver cannot dim a bulb that is not made to dim, so these run on or off |
| Voice commands while the internet is down | Voice assistants need the cloud; buttons, schedules and scenes do not |
| Kalpataru's own smart switches, sight unseen | We do not promise to control a switch before knowing its brand and protocol; the site visit decides |
What should you plan differently in Kalpataru Radiance?
Identify the switches before anything else. At handover, photograph the smart switches Kalpataru fitted, note the brand and model, and find out whether they need their own hub or app and which protocol they use. AHA will not assume they work with its system. With that list in hand, a site visit decides room by room whether a switch stays as it is, works alongside AHA, or makes way for an X7 keypad.
Neutrals behind gypsum. Each X7 keypad needs a neutral at its box, and a traditional switch loop often has none. On gypsum-finished walls, running one means a small chase, a patch and paint, so settle it at the site visit, before you repaint.
Curtains for sliding windows. The track fixes above the frame of each aluminium sliding window. A standard AHA curtain motor takes a run up to 15 feet wide and 80 kg; the heavier motor handles 120 to 150 kg. Motors carry a five-year warranty, and each needs a power point at the window head.
Who does the work. Your electrician mounts and wires everything to AHA's plan; AHA designs, supplies, configures and commissions it. The guide to home automation without breaking walls shows how a finished flat is handled.
Has AHA worked in Kalpataru Radiance, and what does it cost?
AHA has designed 5 homes in Kalpataru Radiance. For a first figure, here are AHA's published room estimates. They are estimates, not quotes:
- Living room: 3 keypads, a curtain set, 10 light drivers, AC and fan control ₹1,20,000
- Master bedroom: a keypad, 6 light drivers, AC and fan control, a curtain set ₹85,000
- Guest room: a keypad, 6 light drivers, AC and fan control ₹60,000
A hub is counted inside each of those room figures, yet one hub serves an entire flat, so adding rooms together overstates the total. In Radiance the plan also turns on what Kalpataru has fitted, the scenario switches above all, which is why a site visit sets your actual price. AHA's automation parts carry a two-year warranty from the invoice date, about 95 per cent of support tickets are resolved remotely inside 30 minutes, and support for the first year is free. Our 3BHK cost breakdown goes further. AHA designs smart homes across the city as a home automation company in Mumbai. AHA is not affiliated with Kalpataru.
What do people ask about Kalpataru Radiance?
Has Kalpataru Radiance received its occupancy certificate?
Yes, according to Kalpataru, whose project page showed the status OC Received on 3 November 2026. A property news report, no longer online, said MHADA issued the certificate on 10 April 2023 after Bombay High Court directions, in full for Wings A, C and D and in part for Wing B. If you are buying in Wing B, ask whether the rest of the wing is now covered.
When is possession at Kalpataru Radiance?
Possession is already under way: Kalpataru's project page listed it as ongoing on 3 November 2026. For the registered details of a particular wing, search its number on the MahaRERA portal: P51800000591 for Wing A, P51800000810 for B, P51800000482 for C, P51800000579 for D and P51800013245 for E.
How many floors does Kalpataru Radiance have?
Kalpataru's own page does not give a floor count. One property portal lists two basements, a ground floor, three podium levels and 31 floors above them, while a MahaRERA data mirror gives the highest floor as 38 in Wing A and 37 in Wing B. Check your wing's registration for the figure that applies.
Where is Kalpataru Radiance?
In Goregaon West, Mumbai, on 4.2 acres that property news reports place at Siddharth Nagar, as part of the Patra Chawl redevelopment. One property portal puts Goregaon station about 950 m away and New Link Road about 1.1 km.
What can you automate in a Kalpataru Radiance flat?
The lights fitting by fitting, the curtains, each split AC, BLDC fans, the TV, the main door, bedroom and wardrobe locks, sensor lighting for passages and bathrooms, speakers, and scenes that combine them. The storage water heaters Kalpataru fits are outside it, because AHA does not control geysers or water pumps.
Do Kalpataru Radiance's smart switches work with AHA?
That depends on the switches, and we do not assume it. At handover, note their brand, model and the protocol they use, then a site visit settles how they can sit alongside an AHA system, room by room.
Has AHA worked in Kalpataru Radiance before?
Yes. AHA has designed 5 homes in Kalpataru Radiance, as of November 2026. AHA is not affiliated with Kalpataru.
In short: a Kalpataru Radiance flat comes with split ACs, marble, a door phone and lighting switches that already do scenes. Automating it means pinning down those switches first, then adding curtains, AC control, locks and scenes that run as one.
