The Brain of the System
Every scene in an AHA home is programmed on the Smart Hub, not spread across a dozen separate apps. Light drivers, curtain motors, AC and TV controllers, switches and sensors all report back to it, and it's what turns a set of separate devices into a system that behaves like one thing.
Trigger a scene and the hub is what actually runs it: dimming the lights through the drivers, closing the curtains, settling the AC to temperature, and switching the TV over, all from one command instead of several. Nothing on this list works as a system without it.
Local by Design
The hub processes automations on the device itself, not a server somewhere else, so scenes keep running even when the internet doesn't. Only voice assistants and remote access from outside the home need a live connection, everything the hub runs on its own keeps working regardless.
It also anchors the mesh the rest of the system runs on. Every mains-powered device connected to it, drivers, switches, curtain motors, doubles as a repeater, so the network gets stronger as a home fills up rather than weaker.
