Last updated: 21 August 2026. This policy covers ahasmarthomes.com (the "Site"), the website of AHA Smart Homes ("AHA", "we", "us", "our"). It explains what information we collect when you browse the Site, submit an enquiry, or arrive here through one of our ads, and what we do with it. It also covers how the AHA Smart Homes app handles location information, set out under "Location information" below. Beyond that, the separate account you may use to control an AHA home automation system in your home is governed separately.
Information you give us directly
When you fill in an enquiry or "book a demo" form on the Site, we collect the details you provide, which may include:
- Your name and phone number
- Your email address, on the forms that ask for it
- Your pincode
- The stage of your project (renovation, new home or existing home) and property type (2 BHK, 3 BHK and so on)
- Any message or feedback you choose to add
We use these details to route your enquiry to our sales team and follow up about a consultation or demo. Nothing on the Site processes payments, so we never collect card or bank details here.
Information we collect automatically
Like most websites, we automatically collect some technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the page that referred you here. We also capture campaign parameters, such as utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign and Google's click identifier (gclid), when you arrive through a search or social ad. These are held in your browser for the length of your visit and, if you submit an enquiry, are included with it so we know which campaign it came from.
Advertising and analytics tools we use
We use Google Tag Manager to load a small set of measurement and advertising tools. Depending on your visit, this can include:
- Google Ads and Analytics, to measure site traffic and ad performance
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel, to measure and target Facebook and Instagram ads
- LinkedIn Insight Tag, to measure LinkedIn ad campaigns
- Microsoft Clarity, to record anonymised heatmaps and session recordings that help us understand how visitors use the Site
If you submit an enquiry form, we also pass your name, phone number and email address (where provided) to Google in a cryptographically hashed form, so Google Ads can match your enquiry to the ad campaign that brought you here without seeing your details in plain text. Google calls this feature Enhanced Conversions.

Where your enquiry goes
When you submit a form, your details are sent to our CRM (Zoho) through a lead-routing service we use for this purpose, so our sales team can see and respond to your enquiry. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Some pages on the Site link directly to WhatsApp so you can message us. If you use that link, the conversation takes place on WhatsApp and is covered by WhatsApp's own privacy policy, not this one.
Cookies and similar technologies
The tools listed above set cookies and use your browser's local storage to do their job, for example to hold campaign parameters for the length of your session or to recognise a returning visitor. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time; doing so may affect how some pages work. Google, Meta, LinkedIn and Microsoft each offer their own opt-outs for ad personalisation, linked above.
How long we keep your information
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond to you and, if you become a customer, for the duration of our relationship and as long afterwards as we are required to for accounting, warranty or legal purposes. You can ask us to delete your details at any time, as described below.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to hello@ahasmarthomes.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are in India, these choices are in line with your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023; if you are visiting from elsewhere, we will honour the equivalent rights under the law that applies to you.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information you share with us, including encrypted connections between your browser and our forms. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Location information
AHA Smart Homes may access and collect your device's location information when you use certain features of the AHA Smart Homes application and when the relevant permissions are granted. Location information may include precise or approximate location data obtained from your device.
We may use this information to:
- Enable device discovery, setup and connectivity features
- Support smart home devices and services that require location information
- Provide location-dependent features and functionality
- Improve, maintain and troubleshoot the application and our services
- Enhance the security and reliability of our products and services
Location information is accessed only when it is required for the applicable functionality, and in accordance with the permissions you grant through your device's operating system. You can manage or revoke the application's location permissions at any time through your device settings, though disabling them may cause some features to be unavailable or to work incorrectly. We do not sell your location information. Any collection, use, storage or sharing of it is handled in line with this policy and the laws that apply.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Site or the tools it uses change. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do.
