One System, Three Ways to Run Audio
A single room, a bathroom, or every zone in the house, AHA's speaker line covers all three the same way it covers lighting and climate: as one system rather than a pile of separate gadgets. Start with one room, add zones later, and everything still runs through the same app and the same scenes.
Room Speakers
Each room runs on a 6.5 inch active and passive speaker pair, built into the ceiling. The active speaker carries its own streamer and amplifier, so there's no separate box to hide elsewhere, connect it over Wi-Fi or a wired LAN connection, and the passive speaker completes the pair.
AirPlay and Spotify Connect both stream straight to it, and any app that supports AirPlay, YouTube Music on an iPhone included, plays through it the same way.
Bathroom Speaker
Bathrooms and other humid areas get their own 4.5 inch speaker, rated IP44 for splash resistance. Unlike the room speaker, it doesn't carry its own streamer and amplifier, it runs off an external one instead, pairing naturally with the multi-zone amplifier below.
Multi-Zone Amplifier
For whole-home audio, the 4-zone amplifier drives up to 4 independent zones at once, each carrying up to 2 passive speakers, 8 speakers in total off one unit. Mix zones however the home actually uses them, a bedroom and its adjoining bathroom on two zones of the same amplifier, each playing something different, or the same thing, at the same time.
Why It Matters
Audio has always been the one system left out of "smart home," bought separately, controlled separately, and never actually part of the scenes running everything else. AHA's speakers run through the same hub as your lighting and climate, so a scene can dim the room and start the music in one command instead of two apps. It's part of a complete whole home automation system, or a fully bespoke luxury home automation build for larger residences. AHA's home automation services handle the design, commissioning and ongoing support behind it. Pooja Mode starts the day's bhajans on a schedule, and Kids Mode syncs music to colour-changing light. Speakers run through the Smart Hub like everything else, alongside the IR and RF controllers that handle your TV.
