Cleaning Mode is designed around one of the most important, and often overlooked, users of an Indian home: the house help. Homes are cleaned every day, often room by room, making the people who clean and maintain the home a core user group for any smart home system. Automation should make their everyday work easier, not make the home more complicated to operate.
That's why every room can have a dedicated Cleaning button. With a single press, the room switches into a setup designed specifically for cleaning: the lights go to 100% brightness with a bright, cool-white tone, making it easier to see dust, dirt and stains, while the fans and air conditioning turn off so cleaning can be done comfortably and efficiently.
One button, no explaining required
The important part is that the house help doesn't need to understand the automation system or know which scene controls what. They simply press one clearly defined button and the room is ready to be cleaned.
It's a small experience, but one that gets used every single day. And that's what makes it such an important part of a well-designed smart home.
